A Proud Photography Teacher

To my 2013 Intro class, you worked harder than any class I have had in the past four years. Your slideshows met and in some cases exceeded my expectations. For those of you who have a passion for photography and do not get into the class next year...keep pushing to get in or push the school to create more classes. For those of you who think Photography is an easy class, think again. In the grade 11/12 class you will learn more Photoshop and Editing techniques, you will create art from your Photography, you will work more independently, and push the boundaries even further. I truly look forward to next years classes, and hope to see a number of you in them.

Do not forget to post your best five photographs to the Isfeld Group on Flickr. Have a great summer.

Portraits

Your new assignment is Portraits. Marks 20 .You are to take the following shots:

5 pet portraits
5 female (all one person) portraits
5 male (all one person) portraits
5 mixed people portraits

Portraits can be taken of any age person including your parents, cousins, friends, grandparents. When shooting, focus on angles, and backgrounds. Make sure the shots are flattering of the individual. The individual does not neccessarily need to be looking at the camera. Feel free to get in close and shoot a variety of shots. If you end up with more than 20 shots great! Please put all of these shots on Flickr under the set entitled Portraits.
